Single implants or full mouth implants to support a more permanent prosthesis. Employing CAT scan technology, architectural design software, and robotic milling to obtain the best result in single to full mouth support for a more permanent prosthesis.
Dental implants have changed the face of dentistry in the last 25 years. In basic terms, the implant is a replacement for the root of the tooth. Like a natural tooth root, the implant is secured in the jawbone. The implant is then used to host a crown, bridge or dentures.
At Pleasantsmiles, the dignity of the mouth is our primary focus. We can use a dental implant to replace dentition from one missing tooth or multiples to restore an entire mouth. Some believe that with experience a dentist can determine through x-rays and surgery where to place the implant for the best outcome. Fortunately, we have advanced from this process and are now able to provide a much more precise and sustainable outcome.
We use CAT scan technology, architectural design software (specific to each patient’s skeletal mouth) and robotic milling technology to accurately plan and execute the surgery, enabling us to create the best outcome.
These procedures require more skill, planning, and equipment. Each patient’s surgery is planned on a computer with their exact bony anatomy documented and utilized. A robotic milled precision guide is used to place the implant(s) in the precise location identified in virtual surgery during the planning phase.
The team at Pleasantsmiles is at the forefront of this cutting-edge dentistry. We can provide video documentation to our patients upon request, and with our patient’s permission, we provide more detailed documentation to other dentists for learning purposes.
